Sectioned in Hospital - Day 26

Written by Fox.

DAY 26 - 2nd September

Keri's been revved up most of today. I think that's because it's a big day for her tomorrow. There's a professionals' meeting in the morning (which she doesn't get invited to) and then her ward round is in the afternoon. It's being deliberately booked for the afternoon just in case anyone from the professionals' meeting wants to be at the ward round. It's basically going to be the decision of whether she stays in hospital and placed on a section 3 or whether she gets discharged home. Discharge at this point is very unlikely which means another kick off like the one she had on Thursday is very likely to happen.

She had all her physiotherapy today and the physiotherapist is going to start taking her to the gym every afternoon starting tomorrow to try and figure out what's wrong with her joints. No one has said anything about arthritis so the tests must have been normal. Now it's down to the physiotherapist to put a name to the condition Keri has which she's finding very difficult because of the multitude of Keri's symptoms!

I know she had her psychotherapy session today and that it went fairly well. I don't really know much detail except that her psychotherapist had never seen her in such a tetchy mood. I decided that I needed a rest for a bit so I pretty much left Keri to it. Her psychotherapist is going to be at the professionals' meeting tomorrow.

She's really been quite tetchy and not wanted to talk to anyone. She's spent most of her day with her headphones on and pacing again. The hospital is starting to get to her a lot. All she sees is herself being dumped in the middle of a load of people that are mentally unwell. What she hasn't yet realised is that she's also mentally unwell! Still in complete denial. There's something seriously wrong though as she's now sat drinking coffee and watching the Hannah Montana movie! Hopefully she'll at least TRY to lie down before midnight...
